Join in the fun, and help save the environment! Lisbon Elementary School will be running Waste-Free Wednesdays. A group of students calling themselves “The Eco-Friendly Garbologists” have noticed the amount of trash LES creates, and they believe that too much is being thrown away. A Waste-Free Wednesday is a small way to start to make a difference. The idea is that on Wednesday of each week, students and staff are encouraged to pack a lunch that produces zero trash. Pack in re-usable containers, or in eco-friendly recyclables! Together, we can make a difference!
