Greetings LES Families,
We certainly hope that you are enjoying your summer and are taking moments to relax, revitalize, and revive. We miss you. Lisbon is not quite the same without your children here.
We are 1/2 way through the summer and so much has happened already. Some staff members have had amazing opportunities, which will allow them to follow professional dreams or personal endeavors.
We thank the following staff members for their service to our Lisbon learning community and wish them well as they begin a new chapter in their lives.
Pam Benya – Mrs. Benya retired from the Howard County Public School System after 29 years of service. She will breathe more freely and enjoy more time with her family. Thank you Mrs. Benya; for the amazing education, dedication, and support you have so graciously given our students through the years.
Holly Forejt – Mrs. Forejt will officially retired from the Howard County Public School System on September 1, 2018 after 13 years of service. She plans to relax and enjoy more time with her friends and family. Thank you Mrs. Forejt; for the amazing support and dedication you have so freely given to our students here at Lisbon!
Kathleen Shields – Mrs. Shields has joined the Glenwood Middle School staff as Special Education teacher and will share her talents there with her new caseload of students. Thank you Mrs. Shields; for being a true nurturer to our students here at Lisbon!
Susan Peck- Mrs. Peck has joined the Clemens Crossing Elementary School staff as Special Education assistant. Thank you, Mrs. Peck; for all the support you have given our students over the past few years.

Madeleine Burchell- A certified special education teacher joining the LES team, assigned to Special Education from Fulton Elementary School. Welcome to LES, Ms. Burchell!
Kelly Horowitz - An experienced special education teacher joining the LES, assigned to Special Education from Veterans Elementary. Welcome to LES, Mrs. Horowitz!
Tiana Seldon - An experienced teacher joining the LES team, assigned to grade 5 from Worthington Elementary School. Welcome to LES, Ms. Seldon!
